Holland Print Shop is deeply rooted
in art-based graphic design. We use computers to produce your graphics
but our eye for detail and creativity is as important today as it was
in th e
beginning making hand painted signs, posters and displays.
Designer and owner Pip Holland has
over 40 years in the sign and printing
industry. Protégée of his father, Phil Holland Sr., Pip started
working at age 15 in the family business: Holland Sign Shop in Memphis
TN. From the simple beginning of hand lettering signs, sign
installations to managing the signage for the annual FedEx- St. Jude
Golf Classic tournament in Memphis, he has been exposed to every
aspect of the sign business.
While working for the family
business Pip expanded his love of hang gliding
to professional hot air ballooning. Pip has flown balloons
professionally for 25 years flying for ReMax, First Tennessee Bank,
Mossy Oak, Bryan Foods, Ballpark Franks, Ford, LPGA US Open flying
golf ball, WOKI in Knoxville flying their balloon at the 1982 World's
Fair and operating The Great Smoky Mountain Balloonport .
Pip's love of the Smoky Mountains
and the '82 World's Fair prompted him to move to East Tennessee.
In 2006 he married and moved to White Pine where he and his wife,
Charlotte, live and now operate a print and design sign shop.
